LyricNow

Live lyrics for any song playing around you.

LyricNow listens through your iPhone's microphone, identifies the song playing nearby, and shows its lyrics — highlighting each line in time with the music when synced lyrics are available.

Getting started

• Open the app and allow microphone access when asked.
• Play music nearby. The song and its lyrics appear within a few seconds.
• Lyrics switch automatically when a new song starts.
• Tap the microphone pill at the top right to pause or resume listening.

Troubleshooting

The song isn't being identified. Recognition needs an internet connection and audible music. Move closer to the speaker, turn the volume up, or reduce background noise. Very obscure or unreleased tracks may not be in the recognition catalog.

It says "No lyrics found." The song was identified, but the lyrics database doesn't have an entry for it yet. Coverage grows over time — try again later.

Lyrics aren't scrolling in time. Not every song has line-by-line timing data. Those songs show the full lyrics without highlighting.

Highlighting drifts out of sync. Timing re-syncs automatically every few seconds while music is playing. If it stays off, pause and resume listening with the microphone button.

Microphone access was denied. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and turn LyricNow on.
